So here’s the deal – we’re going to be targeting successful local businesses and helping them get more leads, sales, and traffic to their websites through video marketing. Why local businesses, you ask? It’s simple: they’ve already got money to spend on advertising.
Think about it – would you rather do business with someone who’s got a budget for marketing, or someone who’s broke and can’t afford to invest in their own growth? It’s a no-brainer, right?
The Power of Video Marketing
I’ve put together this awesome promo video that showcases some of the clients I’ve worked with and how they’re absolutely crushing it by ranking at the top of YouTube and Google for their target keywords.
Here’s the thing – for these businesses, just one sale from these videos can mean tens of thousands of dollars in revenue. Seriously, it’s that powerful.
For example, if you have a personal injury attorney and he just gets one sale from one of these videos, they can make $100,000, a huge amount of money.
So instead of trying to get thousands and thousands of random visitors, we’re focusing on attracting highly targeted leads that are much more likely to convert into actual paying customers. This is incredibly valuable for local businesses, and the best part is, once these videos are up, they stay up forever – no expensive pay-per-click charges to worry about.
How to Use My Video
Now, I’m going to make it super easy for you to get started with this. I’ve created a special version of my promo video that you can download and use on your own YouTube channel.
Here’s what you need to do:
Download the video using the link in the description below
Re-upload the video to your own YouTube channel
Make some minor edits to make it your own (add an intro, outro, music, commentary, etc.)
Include a strong call-to-action in the video description and pin a comment with your affiliate link

Now, let’s talk about those calls-to-action for a second. This is really important if you want to maximize your earnings.
I recommend doing two things:

Pin a comment with your affiliate link in the comments section
You can also add a simple text call-to-action directly in the video itself using a tool like Screenpal or Wondershare Filmora. These are really easy to use and can make a big difference in your click-through rates.
If you’re not comfortable doing the video editing yourself, you can always outsource it on a site like Fiverr for super cheap. There are tons of skilled video editors who can add those professional looking touches for you.
Finding Clients
Alright, so you’ve got your video ready to go – now it’s time to find some clients! The good news is, local businesses are everywhere online, and it’s not hard to track them down.
I suggest focusing on one industry at a time so you can really personalize your outreach. For example, you might decide to target personal injury attorneys in a specific city. These guys tend to have big budgets for advertising and many of them are way behind the curve when it comes to video marketing, so it’s a perfect opportunity.
To find them, just do a quick Google search for something like “personal injury attorney Miami”. You’ll get a bunch of results, and most of them will have their website listed right there. Avoid clicking on the paid ads (those can cost the business owner a ton of money per click), and instead, focus on the organic results.
Once you’ve found a few potential clients, it’s time to reach out! You can usually find contact information right on their website, or by checking their social media profiles.
Here’s a really effective outreach template you can use:
Subject: Get more leads through video marketing Hi [Name], We specialize in helping personal injury attorneys attract more high-value cases through targeted video advertising. Here's a quick video showing the kinds of results we've been able to achieve for our clients: [link to your video]If you're interested in learning more, just reply to this email and I'll be happy to walk you through how it works! Cheers,[Your Name]
The key here is to keep it short, personalized, and focused on the results you can deliver. Remember, these attorney’s are busy people – they don’t have time to read a novel. Just pique their interest and make it easy for them to take the next step.
Another great way to get their attention is by interacting with their existing social media content. Follow them on platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, and then leave thoughtful comments on their posts.
Not spammy stuff, but genuine, engaging comments and questions. This is a great way to get on their radar in a non-pushy way.
Creating a Branded YouTube Channel
If you really want to establish yourself as an authority in the video marketing space, I highly recommend creating a branded YouTube channel specifically for this purpose.
It doesn’t have to be anything fancy – just a channel with a relevant name and some videos showcasing the power of video marketing for law firms (or whatever industry you’re targeting).
Here’s an example of a good channel name: “Law Firm Video Marketing Pros”. That immediately tells people what your channel is all about.
Once you’ve created your channel, you can use a site like Canva to create some simple but professional looking channel art and video thumbnails. Even if you’re not a designer, Canva makes it dead simple.
Then, any time you comment on a prospect’s video or channel, your branded channel name and icon will show up, reinforcing your expertise and making you stand out from the other commenters. It’s a small thing, but it can make a big impact over time!
The Long Game
Now, I know everyone wants to make money as quickly as possible, but I want to emphasize that this is really more of a long-term play. You’re not going to get rich overnight.
But if you consistently put out valuable content, interact with potential clients, and build up your authority, you can absolutely crush it with this business model.
Those videos you create will be out there working for you 24/7, attracting perfect clients and funneling them into your affiliate offers. And the great thing is, once you’ve got a few happy clients under your belt, they’ll often start referring you to other business owners they know.
So if you’re willing to put in the work upfront, this can pay off in a big way for months and years to come. It’s the closest thing to passive income I’ve ever found.
