11 Smart Tactics to Drive Traffic to Your Classified Ad Website
Running my own classified ad websites has been one of my best lead generation tools. I get 100’s of leads everyday. Check out the video below where I go into detail about this.
However, what if you are starting from scratch? Not a problem. Here are many no cost and no cost ways to promote your own classified ad website. You can even use all these techniques to promote our affiliate programs or even any affiliate program.
1. Contact All Your Personal Contacts 1 by 1!
Do not underestimate this! I guarantee you have lots of contacts in your phone. Contact each one individually and tell them about your new free advertising website. Ask for their advice about your site.
Very important. Do not ask their opinion. Ask their advice. The make them an ally for you. Now they are on your “team.”
Then ask them to send the link to anybody they know who has a business and is looking for free advertising.
Then do the same with all your contacts in your gmail account or other email accounts. Contact them one by one with a personal email.
I spoke with one older network marketer who individually contacted 80 people per day. He used no high tech software and he consistently make money in network marketing for years which is very hard to do.

I have used this simple email to get 1000’s of people to join my classified ad website.
3. Start Making YouTube TikTok and Instagram Videos.
Do not worry about being good. You won’t be. Just start making videos every day and posting them about your website and the online advertising niche. You will get better as you go. If you need ideas for videos try using ChatGPT or Google Gemini for topic ideas.
I just put this prompt into ChatGPT:
“I have a free classified ad website. I need to make TikTok videos. The site mainly appeals to the work from home affiliate marketing, business opportunity crowd but there are many other categories as well. I need some subject ideas for videos.”

So do you think this is enough to start with? You can make the videos yourself or you can hire cheap outsourcers on Fiverr.com or other freelance sites. You can post these video on all the different platforms. You can even ask chatgpt to write the video script for you!
The key is to start making videos every day with links back to your website and to build your audience.
4. Create A Separate Facebook Page and Social Media Accounts Branded For Your Website.
If you specifically optimize your social media accounts for a free classified ad website it will be found very quickly in Google when people are searching for such sites.
